Living the Great Commission
Based on Matthew 28:16–20 His resurrection, Jesus gathered His disciples on a mountain in Galilee and gave them a mission that still shapes the Church today. In Matthew 28:16–20, often called the Great Commission, Jesus sends His followers into the world with a purpose: to make disciples, share His love, baptize, teach, and live as witnesses to God’s grace. What makes this moment so powerful is that Jesus speaks these words to ordinary people. The disciples were not perfect.
